Meet Sonam
Sonam is the founder of Lalita Shakti Tantra Temple & Arts and TantraLoka Shakti Centre in Goa, India—sacred spaces dedicated to the rebirth of the Divine Feminine through the living wisdom of classical Tantra.
Born into a lineage steeped in Tantric Buddhism and Shakta Tantra, Sonam carries the rare gift of bridging the ancient with the contemporary. She embodies the essence of timeless tradition while speaking directly to the soul of today’s woman.
Her path has not been one of borrowed teachings or academic pursuit, but of rigorous sadhana, profound inner work, and direct grace of the Goddess. Every practice she shares arises from lived communion—a flame that has burned through lifetimes and continues to burn in service of Shakti’s return.
A Life in Devotion to Tantra
For more than a decade (and likely many lifetimes), Sonam has immersed herself in the inner sanctum of Tantra. She has received transmissions in Sri Vidya, Kashmir Shaivism, and Buddhist Tantra, walking the razor’s edge between discipline and surrender, devotion and fierce truth.
Her practice is not simply ritual, but a living fire fueled by unwavering devotion and a soul-level calling to serve the rise of the Sacred Feminine.
Presence as Transmission
To sit in Sonam’s presence is to encounter the living current of Shakti. She does not teach in the conventional sense—she channels, transmits, and initiates. Her words are not lectures but invitations into remembrance—a remembrance of the dismembered truth of the Divine Feminine that has long been suppressed, and now rises again.
A Global Circle of Women
Over the years, Sonam has initiated thousands of women worldwide into the living pulse of the Mahavidyas and the embodied mysteries of Tantra. In her temple spaces, the Goddess is not a concept or distant myth—She breathes, She moves, She remembers Herself as you.
Through Sonam’s work, women are empowered to reclaim their bodies as temples, their sexuality as sacred, and their voices as vessels of truth. She offers not only practices but pathways into full embodiment—where the ancient wisdom of Tantra entwines with the modern woman’s life.
The Vision
Sonam’s Vision is to keep alive the sacred thread of Shakta Tantra and to create spaces where women all over the world can rise as living embodiments of the Goddess.
या देवी सर्वभूतेषु शक्तिरूपेण संस्थिता। नमस्तस्यै नमस्तस्यै नमस्तस्यै नमो नमः॥
Salutations again and again to the Divine Goddess who resides in all beings in the form of Power (Shakti), Intellect (Buddhi), and Prosperity (Lakshmi).
